Zip Line Orlando, located adjacent to Green Meadow Farm, boasts eight zips and three suspension bridges and claims to be Orlando’s “Best Canopy/Zip Line Tour.” It is one of the highest, longest, double decker zip tours in Florida. The shortest stretch is a short 225 feet; longest line extends 950 feet where you can reach speeds as high as 30 mph.
The course’s highest point soars to 65 feet. The scenery is all natural, including trees and wetland areas. This is the ideal habitat for deer, alligators, and cattle. The entire Zip Orlando experience takes from 1.5 to 3 hours.
Riders must show up 30 minutes ahead of their reserved tour and it truly is necessary to appear that far ahead because the check in office is located a little over 2 miles from the canopy tour launch point. A van transports you to the zip line launch site.
Participants must weigh between 70 and 279 lbs. No age restrictions. Prices may vary based on date or day of the week. Check website or call for details. Reservations necessary. Minimum age is 5. Special zip excursions are the Sunday Sunset Tour and Zip Night Tours (where you may see the fireworks from Disney). Both are unavailable from June-September due to possible storms with lightning. Closed toe shoes must be worn. Advance reservations necessary with a strict cancellation policy.
Zip Line Orlando times vary according to demand and season. Tours could leave at 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Or there could be only a single trip in late afternoon.
