Yogi Bear Camp-Resort is a spacious, 67-acre campground. It’s home to nearly 400 campsites and 51 rental units, including cabins, yurts and lodges. Some of the rental units come with everything from fully-equipped kitchens and baths to color TVs and air/heat.
The campground features a 10,000-square-foot outdoor waterpark designed for the 12-and-under set. There is also a hot tub, lots of playground equipment and a mini-golf course. (Unfortunately, the Interstate rumbles past these areas.) There are several laundry sites – yay! – but while they’re clean, they’re a bit worn.
Bargain-hunters can stay in an economy lot across the road that offers grassy tent sites with fire rings and picnic tables.
The camp-resort runs free arts and crafts sessions every hour, plus autograph sessions with Yogi Bear characters. Numerous special activities are available, too. For example, Pirate Adventures Week includes peg-leg races, treasure hunts and Black Beard’s Ball.
There’s free wifi throughout resort.
Holiday weekends require a minimum 3-night stay.
