The World of Coke pays hommage to the fact that Atlanta is where Coke was created in 1886. Legend has it that there is a drop of the local Chattahoochee River in every bottle sipped throughout the world. The World of Coke dispels some of the myths
and is a fascinating glimpse into all things Coke.
Located right next door to the Georgia Aquarium and Centennial Olympic Park, it has 62,000 square feet of exhibition area and thousands of artifacts associated with the soft drink.
Among the highlights: Taste It! – a chance to sample Coke products from all over the world; The Bottle Works – Showing the bottling process from beginning to end and Animated films, including one that’s 3-D, provide a fun spin on Coke’s history.
You don’t need a ticket to shop at the Coca-Cola Store. MARTA‘s Peachtree Center and Georgia Dome/CNN Center rail stations are a 10-minute walk away.
