This ancestral gathering and fishing place of the Ojibway peoples of the Great Lakes regions is now owned by the Batchewana First Nations and has been declared a National Historic Site. It offers wooden walking and biking trails along the shore of the St. Mary’s River Rapids, and still has good fishing.
