This 13-acre White Water “beach” right on the Strip offers more than a dozen rides and slides (including a 7-story, 6-slide thrill ride), the KaPau Plummet featuring a 70-degree plunge through two 240-foot slides followed by a spiraling loop, a giant wave pool, Splashaway Cay (a kind of water playground with slides, walkways and geysers), and Aloha River Hula Hula Bay, a 800-foot winding river designed to look like a Polynesian jungle and filled with fountains, geysers, misters and other water features that greet tube riders. On a hot summer’s day, this is where you’ll wanna be. Alternatively, there are 23 select nights from July 4 to the end of August when rides operate until 10pm, with movies shown on a screen above the wave pool on Fridays and fireworks on Saturdays.
