Tucked away in the southwest corner of the Old City, this temple is definitely not on the tourist trail but is nevertheless worth a look. The squat viharn (assembly hall) is constructed in typical Lanna style, with a multi-tiered roof, upturned eaves and red and gold panels on the gable above the entrance.
Unlike most stupas in Lanna temples, however, the one here is stepped in seven levels instead of following the more common bell shape. There are niches with Buddha images on each of the levels,
though some niches are empty.
