Built and rebuilt on the only hill in Phnom Penh, Wat Phnom provides a center for the city spreading out below. In 1373 the original site housed four statues of Buddha. Rebuilt successively since 1434, The vihara provides a sanctuary for people praying for success, prosperity and good health. Opening hours 7am-6.30pm, museum 7am-6pm.
