Voodoo Music and Arts Experience

More than just a music festival

The Voodoo Music and Art Experience has been entertaining people from all over the world for 20 years now.  Often called Voodoo Fest, this is more than just a music festival.  There are over 65 bands on four stages with internationally known artists as well as new acts which are soon to be famous and local celebrities to satisfy every taste.  But there are also amazing edibles at the Forked Up Food Court which are a step or three above your average festival fare.  The Brew Dat Beer Hall is there to satisfy every beverage need.  There is a ferris wheel, an interactive haunted house, fireworks, and lots of people in their most creative costumes.  (It is held the weekend closest to Halloween.)

And for the Arts Experience part there are immersive large scale art installations as well as plenty of somewhat smaller but nonetheless amazing items available for purchase at the Merch Church.  If you’re looking for a lagniappe (or ‘a little something extra’) you can arrive a day early and Feast Under the Stars, when a five-course meal with wine pairings is served on the grounds as final preparations for the weekend going on around you.

You can also pay to camp in the park each night, or for a fee you can enjoy “glamping” in safari tents with beds, linens, furniture and electricity.  Come enjoy Halloween New Orleans style with music, food and art for the ultimate indulgence.
