By the lake in Bellagio, take the lakeside promenade to the early 19th century Villa Melzi where you can visit the gardens, the historical museum in the villa, and the neo-classical chapel. The garden was developed in English style and sculptures are placed throughout the garden.
Visitors can wander through the gardens on their own but guided tours are available by booking in advance. Special events, open to the public, are sometimes held at the villa.Villa Melzi Gardens are open all day starting at 9:30AM from late March through early November.
