Tubby’s Seafood River Street is located within the River Street Inn but can be accessed on its own. What a great view of River Street to be had from this restaurant – you can watch the river traffic, the foot traffic and have a bird’s eye view of both!

You can sit inside or out to enjoy breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, or lunch and dinner every day. Their Bloody Mary is the perfect way to begin the day, followed by local favorites such as shrimp and grits, biscuits and gravy, or crab Benedict.

Indulge in a platter or basket of fried shrimp or oysters or fish fingers, chicken fingers or combo. Or try some pasta, chicken or steak if seafood is not your favorite. There is something for everyone on this menu. But – save room for dessert because Tubby, himself, bakes pecan pie in The Savannah Candy Kitchen daily. Yum.

When a container ship passes by, you get a choice of “Ship Shots – $1 for a Ship Shot aka Tubby’s Kamakazi, or $3 Fireball.” You can sit and toast the ships all day long and then get your traveler cup and wander down River Street, because remember, you can take your drink with you in the historic district of Savannah!
