The Troubadour has been providing a stage for
talented musicians since 1957.
Some huge singer songwriters have played here, including James Taylor, Elton
John and California-boy Tom Waits. It’s kept its edge cutting, and performers
like Rasputina and Fountains of Wayne are on the present calendar.

There are a
couple of things about the Troubador you need to know in advance. It’s a general
admission club, mostly standing room but it has a few seats, although all
seating is on a first come first served
basis. Tickets are available at the box-office on the night of the show
only and the box office only takes cash.
