The Track Family Fun Parks opened its first go-kart track in Branson in 1981. Thirty-two years later, the locally-owned company has four different locations (three of them on Highway 76 alone) offering 14 different go-kart experiences for all different ages. Track 4, the one I’ve listed here, has the awesome Heavy Metal Rise reaching over four stories, as well as a variety of classic, rookie and kiddie go-karts, bumper boats and cars, kiddie rides, an arcades hall, and the 100-foot-tall Skycoaster super swing. In 2016, the old Navy Pier’s Ferris Wheel, which stood in Chicago for more 20 years, was moved to Track 4. Standing 150 feet tall, it has 40 gondolas holding up to 240 people. At night it glows with 16,000 LED lights that change color. .
There’s no gate admission charge, which means parents can watch their kids without paying. Check the website for other locations and activities, including laser tag and batting cages (both at Track 5).
