Built in 1864 on a former pineapple plantation, The Pineapple Hotel is the fifth oldest pub in Queensland.
The heritage-listed hotel has been restored and renovated and is now very much a modern pub, with new bars and restaurants, and a terrific beer garden. There’s also a children’s playground at the back, overlooking neighbouring Raymond Park, which makes it a great spot for family get-togethers.
Regulars call it ‘The Piney’ and love this pub for its great steaks, and for the big screens in the sports bar (it’s also located a stone’s throw from Brisbane’s
Gabba cricket ground.
The spacious and open Park Bar is a great space to soak up Brisbane’s sunshine with a cold drink in hand, and Friday night is party night with live music in the bar from 9pm.
