The Jeremy West Hollywood, the first ground-up hotel to open in West Hollywood in 30 years, opened in August 2017 and by the end of 2018 will transformed into a 1 West Hollywood, the fourth property in Starwood Capital’s mission-driven “eco-conscious luxury sustainable” brand.
The Jeremy boasts 50 suites among its 286 residential-style rooms; two of its two penthouse suites fall into a particularly special category. Perfectly perched on the corner of Sunset and La Cienega, they offer stunning panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills and Los Angeles basin. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a private wrap-around terrace (overlooking the rooftop bar) make life worth living. The oversized marble bathroom does too.
The suites evoke a cool, crisp, California feel – sleek while being quiet and natural, trying not to impress, which of, course, is impressive to pull off. They do, with aplomb. Soft amenities include Appelles bath products, Keetsa pillows, Egyptian Cotton bedding, a “curated” pantry, triple filtered water, and 24-hour in-room dining. If you ever leave the suites (which you might not!), you’ll find a complimentary local car service, 24 hour Mac workstations, pet and a 24/7 fitness center.
