Head to Gartelmann Wines on Lovedale Road and follow the path around to the Deck Cafe for coffee and eggs benedict or other breakfast faves from 8.30 am. The lunch menu from midday has specials and choices such as zucchini, caramelised onion and pinenut frittata with vine ripened tomatoes, Hunter Valley fetta and rocket salad. Open seven days, for breakfast, coffee and lunch (sometimes closed for weddings and parties) this is a place for an enjoyable meal on the deck overlooking a dam in a peaceful bush setting.  Taste wine at the Gartelmann cellar door.
