Way down Sukhumvit Soi 24 and claiming its stake as the first boutique hotel in Bangkok, The Davis Hotel has amenities galore both in the rooms and on site. The rooms are individually designed with a mix of Thai design and sleek, contemporary furniture. The most exclusive are the seven Thai-style villas that form a mini-village with its own pool.
Overall the grounds are big: there’s a swimming pool, spa and massage center, two Thai restaurants, and mod lounge areas. But at some point you’ll leave the swank compound. The Davis is not far from Emporium and some good Japanese restaurants. On Sukhumvit Soi 33/1, you can visit Ramen Tei for noodles and Custard Nakamura for fusion pastry.
