The Forno family of winegrowers opened this estate on the slopes of Vesuvius to share their passion for the products born of Vesuvius’ lush soils. At 400 meters, this one-time riding school sits within Mt. Vesuvius National Park.
On offer at this 2 hectare agriturismo: wine tastings, lunch or dinner at the estate’s Km0 restaurant featuring typical produce from Vesuvius, like Pomodorini del Piennolo (tomatoes) and Lacryma Cristi (Tears of Christ) wine; guided tours of their vineyards and cellar; a walk in the National Park with an expert guide; horseback riding; mountain bike rentals; and for the little ones, horses, ponies, donkeys, goats and other farm animals. The estate also features two B&B apartments and you can pick up a a bottle or two of their wine or olive oil to remember your time here.
Need transport? Not to worry. Le Lune del Vesuvio offers shuttle service to/from Naples, Sorrento and Pompeii.
