Stockstill Skate Park

For those skateboarders in your life (if not you)

Ok, so the Stockstill Skate Park is not state-of-the-art (and doesn’t look very inviting with snow in my photo) but if you have a skater they’ll probably beg to come anyway (I speak from experience; my then-14-year-old son insisted on bringing his skateboard even to Japan, which gave me a whole new perspective on the country). Let your skater blow off some steam, while you expend some energy on the 62-acre park‘s half-mile paved trail. There are also tennis courts, soccer fields, playgrounds, a dog park ($5 daily admission) and picnic tables, among other facilities. This is a great place for a picnic and is just one of 16 parks in Branson.
