Sprecher Brewery began making prime suds and gourmet sodas in Milwaukee in 1985. Now its drinks are being showcased through restaurant/pubs called, naturally, Sprecher’s.

The best deal at Sprecher’s, hands down, is the beer sampler,€ a NINE-ounce glass of any craft beer (there are about 14) that won’t bust your wallet. Wine and mixed drinks are also available, as are gourmet sodas. (The ginger ale, cream soda and root beer are especially good.)

Despite its focus on drinks, Sprecher’s has an extensive menu featuring everything from sandwiches and burgers to steak and pasta, plus a kids’ menu with loads of choices, including cheese ravioli and corn dogs.

Appetizers are on the inventive side; you may find items like Scotch eggs or tuna poke on the menu.
