The Spirit of Ethan Allan offers various themed cruises during the summer (April to November) on its 350-plus passenger cruise ship, complete with food and beverage service. Their scenic narrated cruises set sail four times a day during the season – and provide information about the history and geography in an around Lake Champlain (as well as a chance to spot “Champ,” the mythic lake monster.)
In addition to the scenic cruises, passengers can choose from a variety of other lake tours, including popular sunset cruises, lunch and dinner cruises, and even a murder mystery cruise. The scenic and lunch outings last an hour and a half, while most of the dinner and other themed cruises run two and half hours. Ticket prices range from roughly $20 per adult for the standard scenic cruise, to $50 for dinner cruises. The Spirit of Ethan Allen also offers package deals – for a full Vermont experience, try the wine and cheese package, which features local cheeses and fresh baked bread.
