Here’s the antidote to big box stores and chain boutiques that pop up all over the country: the SoWa Open Market. The weekend art market welcomes artisans and food purveyors to hawk self-made stuff. To some degree, the vendors change each weekend, so it’s never the same experience twice. Whether they’re looking for one-off graphic tees or fresh-baked loaves of bread, SoWa is where Boston’s hipsters find it. In addition to the handicraft market, there’s also a farmers market, food trucks and a beer garden.
