Sometimes you’re in the mood for Polish cooking, that
stick-to-the-ribs kind of cuisine. Solidarity (formerly Warszawa) delivers in spades, with Polish
favorites like pierogi, bigos hunter’s stew, potato pancakes and stuffed
cabbage. Lots of Polish beers and vodka to choose from.
The venue is getting high marks for the quality of its happy
hour, Wednesday through Friday from 6 to 9 pm. While this is working class
fare it doesn’t come dirt cheap. They have a back patio if you
need some fresh air after all that heavy lifting.
