Of course they are proud of their Poulsbo bread and you’ll want to take a loaf home. Sluys’ created the bread recipe and is the only bakery still producing it from scratch. It was one of the first multigrain breads on the market in 1974. It is made with honey, millet, flax, wheat germ and sunflower seed. The formula was sold but they retain the rights to make it at the bakery.
There are plenty of benches along Front Street. Grab a pastry and coffee and enjoy the morning like the locals do.
