nine-story hotel in Chinatown has retained the charm and glamor of
the opera house it once was. The interior courtyard has a shallow
pool at the center with balconies that wrap around it, and the doors
to the rooms look like entries to 1930s shophouses.
lacquer tables and chairs are set up with games for guests to play.
There’s also a library, a jazz club, and a restaurant.
rooms have Chinoiserie dividers, bed coverings, and lantern
lampshades. It’s the kind of place you might not want to leave during
your stay. But they offer tuk-tuk shuttle service to the Grand Palace
and MBK, so guests will at least make it to these sites. And Yaowarat
Road is just outside the front door!
