Frank Lloyd Wright fanatics, the Seth Peterson Cottage is your dream come true.
The cottage is one of the famous architect’s last commissions – in 1958, when Wright was 90. The cottage is tucked into the woods near Mirror Lake just outside the Dells.
Unfortunately, the cottage’s owner, Seth Peterson, died before it was finished. Subsequent owners completed the structure, and today the one-bedroom cottage (sleeps 4) is available for rent. But you’ll have to be patient. There’s generally about a two-year wait.
While you wait for your stay, take a public tour of the cottage. Tours run the second Sunday of each month from 1-3:30 pm.
