From Downtown, cross over the Fort Point Channel and enter the up-and-coming Seaport District, also called the South Boston Waterfront. And we say “up-and-coming” we mean it quite literally. Where once there were once asphalt parking lots, there are now massive modern buildings towering over the neighborhood.
Stroll along picturesque Fan Pier, with superb harbor views, and make your way to the ICA, showing off impressive contemporary art and architecture. Further along, the historic fish piers give way to flashy waterfront dining, including the city’s best, freshest seafood. So grab an outside table at the Barking Crab or go slightly upscale at Legal Harborside.
Needless to say, there are fabulous views of downtown Boston from here.
