SeaBlue was named Number 1 in the country in the top 100 best U.S. restaurants by Open Table in 2014. It was also named by Open Table diners the Number 1 steakhouse in South Carolina and in the top 10 restaurants in South Carolina, both in 2016 and 2017.
This is an upscale fine dining restaurant with contemporary American cuisine. It also has received the Best of Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator and the Three Diamond by AAA. It’s a bit more urban hip than most of the area’s restaurants.
Kobe beef, Wagyu beef, local seafood, Australian lamb, NC pheasant, Hudson Valley foie gras, exotic mushrooms and many more specialties are featured on the extensive menu.
Check for the special events such as occasional tasting or wine dinners which are quite upscale and tasty. It’s a bit pricey but well worth it for special occasions.
The local art exhibited here also is impressive.
