You don’t have to stay at a waterpark resort when you come to the Dells. There’s a wide range of additional lodging choices available, and Sand County Service Company is in charge of renting many of them.

The company represents mostly privately-owned rental properties, from waterfront condos to single-family homes to cottages tucked in the woods. All price points are available, too, from budget to high-end luxury.

Accommodations are very clean, and staff members are exceptionally friendly. Make sure to inquire about the particulars of your unit when you’re booking, though. Some include shampoo and hair dryers, for example, while others don’t. You also may get a little nicer quality bedding and towels in the pricier units.
