San Juan Island Cheese is a local cheese and wine bistro with a lunch menu as well as take-out box lunch service.
It’s in an ideal location across from the Brickworks Farmer’s Market and within walking distance from the ferry. You can sit on the patio or keep cool indoors. Enjoy a glass of wine or beer with their ever-changing cheese and meat boards.
We went to San Juan Island Cheese for lunch. I had a marvelous quiche with fresh from the farm greens. You can try one of their quiches, salads, soups made with seasonal ingredients (featuring house made locally smoked salmon chowder) or Panini for lunch.
They also have desserts such as cheesecake and chocolate goat cheese truffle, just to name a few.
They can pack a lunch for you to take whale watching or bike riding. They feature Northwest or Italian picnic lunches.
And then there are the cheeses you can buy. They have a Friday night event series, and you might even meet a cheese or winemaker!
