Salt is set in an historic brick building and sitting at one of the patio tables you can watch the action on the Pearl Street Mall. With an open kitchen, seated at tables in the narrow restaurant, you can see what’s cooking.

Menus change seasonally, but the overall philosophy is “simple, elegant and savory.” Salt’s chef focuses on fresh produce, meats and dairy from nearby farms. The entrees are imaginative and delicious.
