The front of this shop doesn’t have a word of English on it and that’s probably why it gets overlooked by a lot of foreigners. It has Thai snacks and desserts that you see here and there on the streets of Bangkok, but all together under one roof. Spicy sweet dried tamarind, rice cakes with caramel on them, coconut jellies, roselle tea and much, much, more.
The dry snacks make good gifts: they’re light and easy to pack, impossible to find outside of Thailand, and not expensive. To the left as you enter there is a shop with big rough silk scarves in many colors. In the back of the shop is a café that overlooks a garden.
