For me, this stunning building is the highlight of a trip to Brighton. It is as if a palace has been airlifted from the Middle East and dropped into South East England! Designed by legendary architect John Nash for the Prince Regent (George IV) this exotic palace is a delight. The building’s stunning Moorish exterior should be viewed and photographed from all angles.
The interior is also beautifully designed and filled with furniture and works of art. There is also a lovely tea room within the building that overlooks the Pavilion Gardens. The restaurant offers cream tea or high tea. Don’t miss the stunning Royal Bedrooms.
The Royal Pavilion has a relatively rare fully restored regency garden. This lovely garden is also filled with benches and is a delightful place to stop and enjoy the stunning surrounds.
