Roadhouse Cafe

A local Italian and seafood institution

The Roadhouse Cafe in Hyannis, a well-established Cape eatery, is a perennial fave for romantic and birthday dinners. And the ambiance is homey — hanging plants, glowing fireplaces, candlelit tables and Oriental carpets. Owner Dave Colombo and chef Ken VanBurren work hard at making guests feel comfortable and well-attended-to.

The Italian and seafood menu boasts large portions (consider sharing your entree and sharing a couple starters) — try the seafood casserole, cioppino, and chicken parmesan.

Their Back Door Bistro is renowned for thin-crust pizzas, while the mahogany bar offers live piano music and a nightcluby ambiance, complete with low lighting and a good selection of 30 brews.
