An exceptionally friendly place with a homey feel. There are 35 and 42 euro set dinner menus, the latter of which, the “Menu Wine & Dine” pairs wine with each course, which, during my visit, included mushroom strudel, whole wheat pasta served with lamb ragu, and a beef fillet served in Brachetto wine sauce. Fair warning, even with all that food, you walk away from the table pretty tipsy.
For those with less stomach capacity, the “granny’s meat loaf” made with chianina beef and zucchini caught my eye. There’s also a two-course lunch fixed price menu for 15 euros.
