A native of Guadalajara, Chef Martin Rios grew up in the Santa Fe restaurant business. He started as a 17-year-old dishwasher and was the executive chef of several restaurants and hotels before opening his namesake restaurant. In 2017, he was a finalist for best chef southwest from the James Beard Award foundation for his progressive American cuisine.
