The Pulitzer opened in 2001 offering changing exhibitions focusing on the art of architecture.
While most exhibits change every six months, two permanent sculptures are Ellsworth Kelly’s Blue Black, located in the Main Gallery, and Richard Serra’s torqued spiral Joe.
Programming at the museum reflects the content of the current exhibit.
FYI – Joseph Pulitzer was the owner of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch who endowed the Columbia School of Journalism and also endowed the coveted Pulitzer Prize for excellence in journalism. For all of that, he has a star on the St. Louis Walk of Fame.
