Pok Pok is a PDX consensus favorite. Its menu changes according to season or at the chef’s whim. Notably, it doesn’t serve Thai food staples such as pad thai or panang curry, but its servers help diners explore other Southeast Asian flavors. I can’t recommend a better place to just go with it and try something totally new.
It doesn’t use MSG, and its vegetarian dishes are either vegan or can be made vegan. Its drinking water is flavored with Pandanus leaf, as is done often in Northern Thailand.
