Planet Hollywood (Las Vegas)

A touch of young glamor on the Strip

In the 1990s, the vintage Aladdin casino hotel, where Elvis and Priscilla Presley tied the knot, was imploded and rebuilt as a super-sized Middle Eastern fantasy. Then Planet Hollywood came along and did an ultra-modern revamp of this historic Strip address, which starred in Kevin Spacey’s movie 21, about the MIT student geniuses who won millions by counting cards while playing blackjack.

Today this pimped-out Strip casino hotel has an upscale spa by Mandara; headliner shows by Britney Spears and touring stars like J.Lo; the bordello-themed Strip House for steaks; a 24-hour Earl of Sandwich shop; and a Gordon Ramsay BurGR joint. Hit the Miracle Mile Shops next door for more eats, drinks, shopping, and shows.

Tip: For condo suites instead of just hotel rooms, Elara (formerly Planet Hollywood Towers) is a short walk away through the shopping mall.

Planet Hollywood is just south of Paris Las Vegas, a northbound SDX express bus stop. Otherwise, take the monorail to Bally’s/Paris Las Vegas, then walk south to get here.
