If you want to sink your toes into some of the French Riviera’s most beautiful beaches, head east to Theoule-sur-mer.

There are several beaches around here. Some you can hike down to if you’re in good shape with the right footwear and others a little easier to access like Plage de l’Aiguille,  part of the Parc de l’Aiguille, a nature park where the copper-colored cliffs of the Massif Esterel dive into the turquoise sea.

It’s a pretty spectacular area and you’ll find nothing like it anywhere else on the French Riviera.

The Plage L’Aiguille  is sandy and the water clear and calm so it’s great for kids and swimmers. It’s also convenient for the nearby restaurant, Restaurant L’Aiguille, where the staff are friendly and the food is good. And lastly, there is a public shower and restroom on this beach, which makes spending a day here easier than ever.

The Promenade de Pradayrol is the easiest access the beaches of Théoule-sur-mer. Park at Plage du Vallon de l’Autel.

Or you can drive into Parc de l’Aiguille and near the entrance you’ll see a rugged path leading down to the Plage de l’Aiguille and the Plage de
Gardanne.

Enjoy!
