Word on the street is that Chris Bianco elevated Phoenix to world-class status when it comes to pizza. Some international foodies claim it’s among the best in the world. Locals and visitors alike seem to agree and many wait in long lines (even in the heat) to get a taste of Bianco’s pizza straight out of his famous wood-fired brick oven he brought over from the Old Country. A Bronx native, Bianco brought the art of pizza to the desert where he uses only the freshest ingredients to complement the mozzarella he makes on his own.

Note: Pizzeria Bianco’s does not take reservations except for groups of 6-10 (round up a group of your closest friends to save your spot). And while there is a wait, you can wait in the AC with a glass of wine at the adjacent converted bungalow, which is now Bar Bianco.
