This pull-out and the nearby Duck on the Rock pull-out gaze across the canyon down a wedge-shaped drainage cut into the cliffs of Redwall formation. Beyond the river, pyramids and buttes decorate the inner canyon like well-placed chess pieces. The paved hike-and-bike Greenway Trail continues past and ends at the South Kaibab Trailhead .8 mile farther east. The park shuttle Orange Route stops at this viewpoint.
