Anytime you drive by Pink’s when it’s open, you’ll see a line of people waiting to buy one of their super-loaded hot dogs. After awhile, you’re going to have to break down and get in that line and see what all the fuss is about. You know what? A Pink’s all-beef hot dog is not going to send you to the moon, but it’s a fine, quick meal when you just have to have a dog.
Pink’s is a Hollywood institution, having served up quick bites for 70 years at the same location. They made their name on their chili dog recipe, but they also have more fanciful creations, like the Ozzy Spicy Dog, composed of a spicy Polish dog with nacho cheese, American cheese, grilled onions, guacamole and chopped tomatoes. Pink’s also sells burgers and sides.
There’s a small parking lot but good luck finding a space.
