This parkette, with its chestnut trees and seasonal flowerbeds, is just a stone’s throw from Wellesley subway station. It’s located on the former front yard of the renowned 19th-century artist from whom it gets its name.
History buffs, take note: the property is a designated heritage site, and a commemorative plaque is located in front of Kane’s house, now partially integrated into a newer housing cooperative behind it.
