This is a well attended public church in the heart of the old town, and is a symbol of the city. The most remarkable element is the Crown that graces the top tower of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, designed by José Esteban Ramírez Guareño.
It is a quiet and cool place to visit in the heat of the day, and the interior decorations are lovely.
Be sure to respect the privacy of regular churchgoers, and leave a little donation in the box on your way out. It will be much appreciated.
