Three world class golf courses were designed by three of the big names in golf design: Arthur Hills, Robert Trent Jones and George Fazio.
Golfers play the way it is played in the old country, by walking the course which is allowed on all three courses all day.
The Arthur Hills Course is home to one of the oldest structures on Hilton Head Island. The historic Leamington Lighthouse was built in 1880, and it was a functioning lighthouse, unlike some other lighthouses that are iconic for a course. The Leamington Lighthouse helped guide ships into Port Royal Sound.
The Fazio Course is considered one of the most challenging courses on the island, and it is rated one of the top courses in the United States by Golf Digest magazine.
