Facing a tiny square, the similarly tiny interior of Ganino offers a long list of primi and secondi. Vegetarians get relief with a few dishes, but otherwise it’s plates like braised beef with Chianti wine, wild boar Tuscan pepper style, bone marrow, tripe, eggs with truffles and pretty much every other anti-vegetarian meal ever conceived of in Tuscany.
It’s a tourist-friendly place with English on the menu, though with only about a dozen tables, half of them occupied by locals, one can count on an intimate, quality meal.
