This is a great down-to-earth place, offering creative spins on Tuscan favorites.
There’s a couple fixed price menus featuring bistecca alla Fiorentina (the locally famous rare t-bone steak), including a four-course monster with a prosciutto/salami, cheese and honey starter, then a pasta plate with ground beef and mixed veg, the steak, and finishing with hazelnut pudding.
For those who are less dangerously hungry, the a la carte menu has a memorable tortellacci stuffed with ricotta and spinach and topped with mushrooms.
Unfortunately, the background music can be distractingly hit-or-miss.
