Orlando Restaurant Overview
The Orlando area probably has more chain restaurants than any other city anywhere. The abundance of restaurant names already familiar to visitors reassures them they can find tastes and prices similar those back home. International cuisine ranges from African to Vietnamese. In addition, a growing number of celebrity chefs have opened restaurants both inside and outside the theme parks. Orlando is regarded as a prominent dining destination by many food writers and the highly regarded James Beard Foundation.
Theme Park Restaurants
Generally the quality of food available inside the theme parks is quite good despite the large number of meals served every day. Theme park food prices are higher than average (from $8 to $25 for lunch). A dinner for four totaling more than $100 is not uncommon. Theme park dinner shows, which should be booked in advance, can be pricey: $60 for an adult and $40 for children 3-9 years.
