Old Town Prague

Old Town dates back to around the 9th century. A spacious marketplace on the bank of Vltava River began around 1100. Records indicate that every Saturday a market was held. There has been dramatic growth and change over hundreds of years. Old Town is just that, old. There are many things to see here. Therefore, you do not want to miss this area of Prague.

  • Church of Our Lady before Týn – Gothic church topped by sharp spires
  • Church of St. James the Greater – Church
  • Bethlehem Chapel – Medieval chapel connected to Jan Hus
