This 50 square-block section of the city, known as Old Louisville, is home to 1400 structures built between 1885-1905. It is a virtual open-air museum for lovers of architecture and old homes. As one of the largest National Register Historic Districts in the country, it is also one of the largest contiguous collections of Victorian mansions you’ll ever see. Take a guided tour to see it all. Both walking and motor coach tours are available and are led by guides who are knowledgeable and passionate about Old Louisville. Tours last approximately 90 minutes. Ghost tours offered every Fri. night.
